Frequently Asked Questions

What is my approach to working with clients?

I strive to provide all my clients with a non-judgmental, empathetic and compassionate approach, and I always do my best to accommodate client’s therapeutic needs and assist them in achieving their goals. I use a number of therapeutic models within my work [e.g., Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy], and offer a tailored approach that is based on each individual’s goals and needs.

I have vast clinical experience of working with individuals who suffer from a wide range of complex and longstanding conditions, such as anxiety disorders, depression, personality disorders, alcohol/drug/gambling addiction, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, psychosis, and others. I have also experience of working with people who have physical conditions (e.g., diabetes, chronic pain, obesity) comorbid with mental health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety).
I am very happy to arrange an initial ten-minute call to discuss any concerns or answer any questions you might have prior to booking a session with me.
Sessions take 50 minutes and charged at £160.00 per session.
A 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel your therapy session without incurring a charge. If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, you will be charged the full cost of your session to cover the incurred costs at £160.00.

I am based in Kensington, Chiswick, Tunbridge Wells, and online.

The first session provides a space for us to get to know each other and for the client to get a feel of whether we might be a good fit to work together. I am interested in getting an understanding of what has brought you to therapy, and what expectations you might have. We will also begin the process of completing a psychological formulation so that we can get an understanding of what you might be hoping to work on in therapy and begin creating realistic therapy goals.
A typical treatment plan is created quite early on the therapeutic process, and its main purpose is to help guide our sessions in a way that feels beneficial to the client and is aligned to what their goals are. Mental health treatment plans might include assessment information, identifying areas of concern, and establishing realistic goals for treatment. A treatment plan involves a biopsychosocial assessment and psychological formulation, and it might include specific psychological techniques and interventions to help in alleviating presenting issues/symptoms.
I offer the highest level of confidentiality to my clients as and you can read the full confidentiality policy in your therapy agreement.
